Claiming Your Blessings with Confidence

As believers, the phrase "double for your trouble" carries immense significance. This month, let us declare "double double" over everything that God has promised us. But how can we do this with unwavering boldness? Firstly, we have to be ready for the harvest and expectant that God will answer our prayers. We have waited long enough, and now is the time for a double portion of blessings to come our way.

During a recent conversation with God on this very topic, I received a message in my heart that reminded me of a memory from my childhood. My grandmother would go shopping and buy items that she thought would fit her ideal image, but upon trying them on at home, she often found dissatisfaction. Without hesitation, she would return these items to the store, not once nor twice but literally every single time she was unsatisfied. What God revealed to me through this memory is that we should have the same level of boldness when it comes to our spiritual blessings. We should relentlessly pursue what God has promised us and refuse to accept anything that falls short.

This month, if anything comes your way that does not align with God's promises, have the courage to send it back. Let's call a counterfeit a counterfeit and not be deceived by the enemy's tricks. What God has promised you is yours, and you deserve to receive it in its fullness. Position yourself to receive double in your dreams, vision, business, finances, wisdom, ministry, family, household, and everything that you put your hands to. Let August be a month of harvest, where the favor of the Lord is with you in abundance.

As we claim our blessings with confidence, let us also remember to be grateful for what we have and to trust in God's timing. It can be easy to get caught up in the pursuit of more and forget to appreciate the blessings that are already present in our lives. Take a moment to reflect on the good things that have come your way, and give thanks for them.

At the same time, let us not be complacent in our pursuit of greater blessings. We can honor what we have while still striving for more. With unwavering faith and determination, we can confidently declare "double double" over our lives and trust that God will provide what we need at the right time.

Remember that the pursuit of blessings is not just about material possessions or success in our careers. It can also mean seeking greater joy, peace, and fulfillment in our relationships, personal growth, and spiritual journey. May this month be a time of abundant harvest in all areas of our lives, as we boldly claim the blessings that God has promised us.
